With just two weeks remaining until the holiday break, the question is, "What's a nice, self-contained unit of study that'll be a good way to end the year?"
In algebra, the answer to this question is going to involve the study of radicals and exponents. This seems a little dry and mechanical -- and it is -- but it's enjoyable for that. Statistics, once we complete our probability exam on monday, will turn to simulations. This is one of the coolest things in a year full of cool things, so I'm looking forward to a strong finish to 2007

So, snow day! The missed day, along with the half day this friday, makes this a fairly awkward week. We're going to get on with our lives as though not too much has happened, however -- statistics will review probability on Wednesday, and Algebra will be looking at some data analysis.
Please keep in mind that progress reports will be closing this friday, which is also my birthday. Rather coincidental, don't you think?
