Class Notes, Week of 9 MayStatistics classes have really impressed me these last two weeks -- confidence is a subtle and complicated topic, and you guys have been knocking it out of the park. I'm going to four baseball games this week, so I've got statistics on my brain, and so do both of my classes. Stats is studying normal models and confidence intervals, and B is doing a Regents-based approach to binomial probability modelling and the 68-96-99.7 % rule -- which, when you think about it, is really just confidence-intervals-lite.
