The year is really rolling along nicely. I think that we've hit a nice rhythm in all classes, in particular statistics where we're turning our attention to the data gathering for our year-long analysis project of the Noble community. This week, we will be talking a little about what you can do with a large set of qualitative data, getting sampling plans approved, and gathering data.
In algebra, we'll be talking about absolute values, inequalities, and how the two ideas can be combined. It's a good week, all around.
Re: making up missed standards, things are quite a bit different than last year as a result of decisions made at the school board and administrative level. I'm taking things on an individual basis -- if you have a good reason for underperforming and can convince me that you've fixed the problem, I'm happy to talk about re-assessing your skills. Please see me early if this is the case. Obviously, I have less time after school as a result of the school day running earlier, but if you're willing to work to fill in the blanks, I'm happy to provide the opportunity.
